Time for chrono-inclusivity in the workplace?
Circadian misalignment is associated with depression, metabolic disorders, and decreased well-being.
Why good sleep and circadian health matters.
When employees don't sleep well, errors increase, and safety risks rise. Sleep deprivation costs the UK economy up to £40 billion annually (Hafner et al., 2016), yet it remains one of the most overlooked aspects of workplace wellbeing. Investing in sleep and circadiean health doesn't just improve individual health—it transforms a whole team's productivity, decision-making, creativity, resilience and purpose. Most of us appreciate having an occupation and especially when we feel happy doing it. Better sleep means better everyone.
